The Canterbury Caledonian Society Highland Pipeband was formed in 1902, and is based in Christchurch New Zealand. It is one of the world’s longest-running civilian pipe bands, and has competed in Grade 1 since 1967.

Director Liam Kernaghan is a member of the band, and designed both the public site, and the band members site. People visiting the site have easy access through a dynamic menu to a range of information; history, sponsorship, roster, and the latest news from the band. The intergration of a dynamic gallery means people can surf the band’s media easily.

The Otago University Pipe Band, run by Liam Kernaghan and Tom Hill, needed an internet presence to attract potential players and sponsors. OUPB came to Revolution Design Solutions for a website that was easily accessible, easy to manage, and was easy on the eyes.

PBNews (Pipe Band News), operated by Liam Kernaghan and owned by George McEwan, is one of the websites Revolution Design Solutions Director Liam Kernaghan maintains. After developing many designs, some of which were used during its 2 year period, Liam found a design which suited the magazine website and edited it accordingly. What’s more, Liam mainatins the website today, and has a day-to-day input with its contents.
